These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Eastern Drayage Driver App ("App"), operated by Eastern Drayage ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

01. Eligibility & Account
To use the Eastern Drayage Driver App, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a valid commercial driver's license applicable to your jurisdiction
- Be authorized by Eastern Drayage to operate as a driver in our system
- Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@easterndrayage.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
02. Authorized Use
The App is provided solely for use by Eastern Drayage authorized drivers to:
- View and accept dispatch assignments issued by Eastern Drayage coordinators
- Navigate to yards and delivery destinations
- Communicate with Eastern Drayage operations staff via in-app chat
- Submit delivery confirmations, documentation, and status updates
- Receive notifications related to operational activities
Any use of the App outside of your authorized driver role or for personal or commercial gain unrelated to Eastern Drayage operations is strictly prohibited.
03. Dispatch & Deliveries
When you receive and accept a dispatch assignment through the App:
- You commit to completing the delivery in accordance with Eastern Drayage's operational standards and timelines
- You must follow all applicable traffic laws, DOT regulations, and container handling protocols
- You are responsible for accurate delivery documentation and confirmation through the App
- Any incidents, delays, or issues must be reported immediately via the in-app chat or by contacting your dispatcher
- Falsifying delivery records or status updates is grounds for immediate account termination
Note: Dispatch assignments are issued by Eastern Drayage coordinators. The App is a tool to facilitate communications and records — it does not replace your obligation to follow direct instructions from your dispatcher or Eastern Drayage management.
04. Driver Conduct

- Follow all traffic and DOT regulations
- Report vehicle issues promptly
- Maintain professionalism at all delivery sites
- Keep App updated and notifications enabled
- Respond to dispatches in a timely manner
✗ Prohibited Conduct
- Using the App while driving
- Sharing account credentials
- Making unauthorized deliveries
- Misrepresenting delivery status
- Harassment via in-app chat
Operating the App while actively driving a vehicle is strictly prohibited. Always pull over safely before using the App.
05. Chat & Communications
The in-app chat feature is provided for operational communications between drivers and Eastern Drayage staff. By using the chat feature, you agree that:
- All messages are subject to monitoring and review by Eastern Drayage management
- You will use the chat only for work-related, professional communications
- Harassment, discriminatory language, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination
- You will not share confidential business information, client details, or personal financial data via chat
- Chat records may be used as evidence in the event of operational disputes
06. Location Services
By accepting a dispatch through the App, you consent to Eastern Drayage collecting and using your device's location data for the purposes of:
- Coordinating yard pickups and deliveries
- Sharing your real-time location with your assigned dispatcher
- Verifying delivery completion at designated destinations
- Maintaining operational records
Location data collected during active dispatches is covered under our Privacy Policy. You may disable location services in device settings, but doing so will prevent you from accepting or completing dispatches.
07. Intellectual Property
The App, including all software, design, content, features, and functionality, is owned by Eastern Drayage and its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for its intended purpose as an authorized Eastern Drayage driver.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our express written permission.
08. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the App, our servers, or connected systems
- Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or malicious code
- Using automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to interact with the App
- Impersonating another driver, dispatcher, or Eastern Drayage employee
- Using the App to facilitate any unlawful activity
- Interfering with the operation of the App or its infrastructure
- Sharing, selling, or transferring your account to another individual
09. Termination
Eastern Drayage reserves the right to suspend or terminate your App access at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- End of employment or authorized driver relationship with Eastern Drayage
- Fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct
- Safety concerns or regulatory non-compliance
You may request account deletion at any time through our Account Deletion page. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to the termination date.
10. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. EASTERN DRAYAGE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
We do not warrant the accuracy of routing, mapping, or scheduling information. Drivers are responsible for exercising independent judgment in all operational decisions, including safe vehicle operation.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASTERN DRAYAGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for App access in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Eastern Drayage is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via push notification in the App or by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
